The truth is, a birth plan is nothing more than a communication tool for you, the people you are inviting to support you in your birth, and your medical team. Writing out a few of your ideas is a great way to start the conversation of your ideas surrounding birth and beyond, including what if the birth plan doesn't go as planned.
