Yoga teachers will throw a lot of details at you when describing how to do a pose. When you're first getting started, it's hard to know which of these alignment details to prioritize. Our advice columnist Aunt Yoga gets a lot of emails asking for this type of guidance and she is happy to provide it because she loves alignment and she loves details. And most of all, she loves to reassure you that what you are doing is just fine and the most important thing is being ok with that.
