Pose of The Week: Mountain Pose - Tadasana
I'm going to take the first weeks of the new year to focus on the poses in a basic Sun Salutation. This series is done so frequently in vinyasa yoga, but often we rush through it without taking time to appreciate each pose. Sun Salutations can also act as the gateway to a home practice, opening up a whole new way to experience yoga. So, first up is mountain pose. Begin standing here for five to ten breaths, fine-tuning alignment and, if you choose to, setting an intention.
