10 Poses of Warming Winter Yoga

There's two ways to go with winter yoga. You can either snuggle under blankets with your legs up the wall while you wait for spring or you can build heat from the inside out with a vigorous practice. The following 10-pose sequence falls under the second category.

Warm your core with one-legged plank variations, build heat in your legs (you know that means utkatasana, right?) and work on some balancing twists. This sequence also includes poses recommended to prevent seasonal affective disorder, like headstand and camel.
