I'm glad there are friendly sex stores and friendlier sex toys. But there's an edge that is disappearing. A fear and sense of power that comes with openly doing something you aren't supposed to do. What is forbidden is a turn on. And as Amazon and CVS ramp up their sexual health sections, and the porn industry collaborates with mainstream media and a new generation of pornographers to hide it's true dirty deeds (most of which have to do with exploiting labor) a part of me mourns the public opportunities to explore scary sex.
