Breakfast is a great opportunity to start the day off with a nutritious and delicious meal that will give you the energy you need. People who eat breakfast tend to make healthier meal choices throughout the day. Studies have shown that people who eat breakfast are also at healthier weights and have lower hemoglobin A1c's. If you are someone with diabetes who must take prescription medication, you may need to eat breakfast to keep your blood sugars controlled.
